UKH

As the title says. Is there a good website containing info of British Ultra and trail running in the UK? Upcoming races, calendar, reports, general ultra chat etc. Runners World just doesn't cut it.

I've never found one. Mudsweatandtears used to be pretty good but seems to have stopped, iancorless' website often has some reports and interviews.

not much on the UK on ian's site.. bits but he's involved in sky running so that does get more attention understandably.

MST was good for the UK scene..

There's a few smaller sites but all pretty local in their coverage.

the FRA forum isn't bad on the long distance stuff.. but nothing like irunfar.. but also irunfar is very west coast/colorado biased.. you'd think nothing ever happens in the NE.. plus it only covers races who pay.. I'd rather they at least reported on others even if briefly.. for example this year they didn't give one single mention of the US 50 mile trail running champs..

Agree with Iain, the FRA is the best UK-wide source of info on off-road events, great and small:

If you join you get the handbook (listing all races throughout the year) plus the magazine - well worth the £12 it will cost you.

If it's race diary that you're after there is no one definitive source but the Si Entries website has a pretty impressive (and in my ase dangerous!) list of events that you can enter through them.
