Following what they call 'misguided' recent national park initiatives on Snowdon, a well-funded, long-sighted strategy is needed to tackle the problems and risks caused by booming numbers of visitors on the mountain says the BMC. Instead of trying to engineer the mountain to be 'safe' the National Park should be better educating underprepared visitors, they suggest.
