Bloody hell!
JMGLondon 07 Aug 2014
In reply to Chris the Tall:

Whaaat? Just tuned it. Brilliant stuff, unless you have Sunday tickets...
In reply to JMGLondon:

62 for 5 just before lunch
JMGLondon 07 Aug 2014
In reply to Graeme Alderson:
Glad Jordan got Rahane, will do his confidence the world of good. Looking forward to Jimmy vs Jadeja after lunch...
 Sam Edwards 07 Aug 2014
In reply to Chris the Tall:

6 down now
 Bob 07 Aug 2014
In reply to Sam Edwards:

8 gone now.
JMGLondon 07 Aug 2014
In reply to Bob:

9 down
Tony the Blade 07 Aug 2014
In reply to JMGLondon:

152 all out

Can't we make them play on out of principle?
 Bob 07 Aug 2014
In reply to Tony the Blade:

6 ducks! A joint test record - been done 3 times before - now if Aaron hadn't scored a single ...

If it wasn't for Dhoni India's score would be dismal.
Tim Chappell 07 Aug 2014
In reply to Bob:
It would be 81, a score which it is not entirely unknown for England to post.

Still, good to see we have no monopoly on the old Calypso-collapso.

Now I'd like to see Alastair make at least 153, all on his own

In reply to Tim Chappell: Robson gone, 21 for 1
JMGLondon 07 Aug 2014
In reply to Graeme Alderson:
That was really poor from Robson - he left it and it absolutely clobbered off stump.
Tim Chappell 07 Aug 2014
In reply to JMGLondon:

I'm not seeing much of an argument against dropping Robson. And Jordan. And Woakes. We should surely have started this match with Finn; he might well have stopped Malfoy getting a six-fer.
Tim Chappell 07 Aug 2014
In reply to Graeme Alderson:

Sweepstake time: how many will England be down by the time they overtake India?

I say 3. I doubt this pitch is a batter's paradise, but I also think Ballance is looking pretty tidy and will cart this rather poor attack all over the shop.

[horrible silence]

[Ballance swipes at destroyed bails, removes helmet, plods back to hutch]
Tim Chappell 07 Aug 2014
In reply to JMGLondon:

Ah. Do I get the blame for that?

I never mentioned Cook! I didn't say Cook was looking good!
In reply to Tim Chappell:

India 66 for 6. Should be finished tonight
 Bob 09 Aug 2014
In reply to Graeme Alderson:

Dhoni's gone! 107 for 7 now
 Bob 09 Aug 2014
In reply to Chris the Tall:

All out for 161. England win by an innings and 54 runs.

In reply to Bob:

One must be dreaming!!! .....
