Anyone had any experience of the Verto S4K boot?

They are going cheap at the moment in cotswalds and I am in the market for a pair of B2 boots. Are they warm enough for winter walking and easy grades Scottish winter?

The fit works for me, just want others opinion.

Cheers, Al

If they're anything like the S6Ks then they are a seriously good boot. I reviewed those here: http://gearandmountains.wordpress.com/2014/04/09/the-north-face-verto-s6k-g...

If I were looking to buy a pair of B2 boots I'd probably buy the S4Ks without bothering to try the others if I'm honest. They would definitely be suitable for your suggested activities.

They are amazing, first time i wore them did a winter horseshoe of striding and swirell edge. Comfort, warmth and stability straight from car. Didn't even bother with crampons.
Would say they would be warm for anything before Sept/October time perhaps. I've got some Scarpa rebel lites for summer stuff and the S4K for everything else.

Thanks, for all the feedback.

I think I will bite the bullet and get myself a wee bargain ahead of winter.
