I want to make some flapjacks for a forthcoming camping trip. Does anybody have any good recipes/tips they wouldn't mind sharing?
I have looked on BBC food but not inspired.

I copy the ingredients from the Pret Flapjacks:
http://www.pret.com/menu/cakes_slices/pret_bar_PUK1653.shtm

But swap coconut for almond. Just mix enough stuff until it sticks together. Worth chopping nuts and dried fruit in a blender first (smaller pieces stick together more easily).

YUMMY!

(an amount of Peanut butter)
MELT

Add dried ingredients
200g Oats
<100g cereal of choice
Salted peanuts
Dried fruit (dates, sultanas, apricot)

I used this guy's recipe for raw protein flapjacks, but modded it a bit as I found it needed more wet ingredients, and hand-moulded the bars as it made them less crumbly.

More of a high protein bar than an insta-carb bar but you can play with the ingredients. As long as the mixture has enough of a binder (ie chocolate, peanut butter, sugar) and isn't too wet/dry when you put it in the fridge/oven then most combinations will work.
