Very sad. The Finnish climbing community is also currently trying to deal with two of its more active and enthusiastic members, Juha and Antti, being killed in an accident on the Aiguille de Blaitière last friday . I knew Juha a bit - great guy and highly competent and experienced climber, so it was hard to take in when I heard. I suspect the Irish climbing community is not dissimilar in being, like Finland, rather small so a lot of people will know these guys, or at least it will be that friends-of-friends thing.

Condolences to their friends and family.

Indeed it is and they were good friends of a friend of mine.
