Hello guys and gals I am just after some advice really.

I'm from Liverpool and been cycling on and off for years but in the last say six months I have been getting in to my road cycling more and more and now I'm at the point of buying a new bike but with road bikes I'm not 100% what I'm looking for.

I'm 6ft and about 10 1/2 stone and I cycling about ten miles in about an hour so I'm thinking maybe a new bike and I can knock some time off plus get a better feel for the bike.

What do you think would this help me?

Hanks for your time. Steven.

what have you got now?

If you spend £200 more than your budget, you'll get a bike that's slightly better.

Just getting that in now, to save someone else the job later.

6 ft and 10.5 st.

You sir could be a candidate for greatness.

A sportive bike perhaps , which whilst a competitive bike ,will be a bit more forgiving and comfortable than a full on racing bike.

I've been looking at a Cervelo ,but am hearing the ride can be rather sore, and given the lunar B roads round here ,I'm getting a sore arse and arms thinking about it.
