Selling a load of Canon gear as I'm upgrading to a pro setup.
Selling: Canon 6D - £900
The camera is immaculate and has been well looked after. The camera was bought from Digital Depot (not a grey import) on the 16 April 2013. All the features are in full working order and the mirror / sensor is clean. It's the version with built in GPS and wifi, both work fine. The LCD screen has had a GGS Digital LCD Screen Protector in place since I bought the camera and I will leave it on.
Canon EF 70-300mm f4-5.6 L IS USM Lens - £1000
In immaculate condition, no dust or scratches. Has had a Hoya 67mm Pro-1 Digital UV Screw in Filter attached since purchase (I will leave it on). Purchased from Wex Photographic (not a grey import) on the 16th April 2013.
Canon EF 17-40 mm f/4.0 L USM Lens - £500
The lens hood has some light scratching. Aside from that it's in immaculate condition. It has had a Hoya 77mm Pro-1 Digital UV Screw in Filter attached since purchase (I will leave it on).
Canon EF 50 mm f/1.8 II Lens - £50
The 'nifty fifty' a superb lens for the price. Again in immaculate condition with a Hoya 52mm Pro-1 Digital UV Screw in Filter attached since purchase (I'll leave it on).
Samyang 14mm f2.8 ED AS IF UMC Lens - Canon Fit - £250
Possibly the best budget landscape night photography lens (http://www.ukhillwalking.com/images/dbpage.php?id=224985) and highly recommended. Lens is again in immaculate condition. Bought from Wex Photographic (not a grey import) on the 17th July 2013.
I also have a spare Canon battery and a Canon RS-80N3 Remote Switch if anyone is interested.
For obvious reasons I'm reluctant to post anything so collections only please. I'm currently based in Lancashire but I do travel around a bit. You're more than welcome to come and test any of the kit. If you have any questions please feel free to drop me an email at: JamesRushforth@hotmail.com .
Obviously if people are interested in several items I'd be prepared to offer a discount. I have all the original packaging though some of it is currently in Worcester (I could post it to you if you required).
I can provide photos of any of the above items if you require.
In reply to CPR: Ah people have been bartering me down quite successfully, I'm a big softy really.
Both of the sites you linked are grey import sites. If people want to go with that, then go for it! 9 times out of 10 it will be cheap. That 10th time you'll wish you hadn't....
Everything but the 70-300 and remote switch has now been sold. Drop me a message if anyone is interested in them.
Lorraine McCall began her attempt today at a continuous, self-powered round of the Grahams, a four-month tour of upland Scotland combining walking and bikepacking. If successful, she'll be the first person that we know of to do it.
