morning,

am looking to increase the length and variety of running routes after an ankle injury. in the short term i've been advised to stay away from particularly hilly routes in this area.

peak forest canal and sett valley trails give some good routes but any other suggestions or websites where i could find some alternatives would be gratefully received.

cheers

Not sure of the exact boundaries of High Peak, but surely river trails would be good - Manifold Valley, Dovedale. Further afield how about Stanage Edge - there and back 15Km, a lovely route.

Derwent?

Loads of loops on the reservoirs..

Then the rail trails of the white peak, millers dale, monsal etc..

You could do a lot worse than buy this.. used to be free routes, I've done a fair few, superb routes.. varied from lower level trail runs to classic fell routes..
