Anyone else seen this? I went to a small cinema last night to see it and found it spell binding.
If you don't know it is a restored version of Captain Noel's film of the 1924 Everest expedition.
I had only seen stills from that expedition and to see rich, moving pictures was quite enthralling. Seeing George Mallory in camp in moving pictures was quite arresting too.
The film is being shown in cinemas now, if you get the chance go see it. It is well worth it.
I really enjoyed the ambient sound track too.
