Have vague memories of both ascending and descending from corrie leis to CMD arete, steep but straight forward and pretty safe IIRC - considering using this route, in ascent, to avoid tedium of tourist path - any views? - thanks in advance john

done this last week - there is no problem with snow,though lots of unstable scree/blocks

It tallies with my recollection, again its a bit too spicy for present company so i will miss - I'm trying to avoid tourist path without too much additional distance or exitement
