Competition Summary
Friday 16th May 2014
Sign in and regular briefing: 3:00pm - 6:15pm
Climbing: from 3:15pm - 8:30pm following your sign in and briefing
Entry Fee £9.00 per person
A Team Trophy is also available for teams of 3 or more competitors. Competitors will enter as individuals but can also register themselves as being from a specific group (e.g. scout, youth group or school) to qualify for the Team Trophy. A minimum of 3 competitors are required to make up a team and the top 3 placing competitors will be used to determine the overall team position.
Age Categories
Five categories, with separate girls and boys competitions, following the IFSC (International Federation of Sport Climbing) system based on year of birth. All entrants must have some climbing experience.
Youth A - born in 1997 & 1998
Youth B - born in 1999 & 2000
Youth C - born in 2001 & 2002
Youth D - born in 2003 & 2004
Youth E - born in 2005 & 2006
Junior - born in 2007 & after
Equipment
Climbing shoes can be hired on the day for £2.50 on a first come first served basis.
Harnesses and helmets will be provided free of charge.
