Wondering if there are any guidebooks (homemade or otherwise) or topos that show routes at Lynmouth or Hurlstone Point?

Quick internet search hasn't come up with much apart from a good bouldering guide at Lynmouth.

I have the Climbers Club Guide for N. Devon & Cornwall but it only covers as far North as Baggy Point.

The new Climber's Club SWC 2 due out in may has a good selection from Hurlstone and Valley of Rocks with topos and good maps etc.

There isn't really anything else.

It's always been a neglected area with some good climbing, and some very scary stuff too. There used to be a good set of topos for the whole Somerset/Exmoor coast available on-line but I've just checked and it's no longer there. Maybe you now just have to wait for the new CC Somerset guide.

The Previous Iain Peters Edition of NDC had Valley of the rocks and hurlstone Point in it, if you Know anyone with a copy.

Modesty will have prevented mention of Mark's own piece about Hurlstone Point and Valley of Rocks in last year's July edition of Climber; no topos, but worth seeking out - if you haven't already - as a certain amount can be gleaned from the text and accompanying photos. Crocker had an article in the May 2000 edition of High Magazine, although that may be rather more difficult to find now.
