I have one.

My experience has been that it's too warm for me if I'm active. In order for me to use it as a "put it on, leave it on" sort of piece, I'd have to be in really really cold conditions. I haven't used it as much as I thought I might, because it's too hot when I'm active, and not warm enough when I'm just standing around.

However, I run freakishly hot, so it might work better for other, more cold-blooded folks.

I've found somewhat similar in the Marmot version, the Isotherm Hoody. http://lightfromthenorth.blogspot.fi/2014/02/marmot-isotherm-hoodypolartec-... I was wearing it today as a superlight belay jacket kind of thing whilst doing our first rock climbs of the season and it works quite well for that sort of thing. I even kept it on over a base and micro fleece for the first few routes, then just pulled it on when belaying once warmer. But I've found it needs to be super windy or super cold to wear it while active for longer periods.
