Hi,

I have a Garmin 300 (with a national parks 50,000:1 card) which I've used infrequently and for the life of me I can't remember the sites I've used to both download existing routes and also create my own.

I've tried a couple of sites and searched Google but on the whole the files download as tracks and not routes and I have to faff around converting them via Basecamp, it also saves them all as 'Track' and not their name, all a lot of hassle and not what I remember happening a few years ago when I last used it.

Can I ask which sites people use?

As background I've done quite a few walks in the lakes but am moving from London to Ambleside so will be doing a whole lot more.

Cheers and thanks

Julian

In reply to Tommylandy: I use GPSBabel to convert tracks to routes.

There is a link here to lots of websites I use for walks:
