To register and participate in the MIA, do candidates need to have successfully completed the Single Pitch award?

That's the only other MT Award needed but of course there are the pre-requisite climbs and days using your ML too.

Prior to MIA, I did SPA training to see what the award was about, how it was delivered etc, but didn't bother with the SPA assessment. That was quite useful.
