/ Dirt cheap gear at Wilkinsons
Had a little look see while I was there, for 9 quid it isn't bad, not pocket rocket quality but a light and compact little burner that'll last a year easily. If anyone like me doesn't have a local gear shop <therefore has to stock up on gas when out and about as it can't be sent through the post> Wilkies also have the 250 size screw in canisters at 2 for 6 quid.
Numerous companies/retailers sell virtually identical versions, including Vango who add some orange anodising and sell them as their 'Compact Stove' for £15 - http://www.vango.co.uk/gas-stoves/compact-gas-stove.html
I've been using one for a couple of years and they work fine.
I got a clone off ebay from china that is like the spider - low to the ground so stable, pre-heat tube and remote canister. Cost about 20 quid and its great
Got one a few years ago for my lightweight camping pack and its great no problems .
Ah, that's good to know, might mean I don't need to try and park in Keswick....!
