Photos of injuries

Forgive me as this is bit of an odd request... I'm looking for photo reference of cuts, wounds, scares etc that climbers have received while climbing, walking, mountaineering etc... I'm doing some research and the books & google can only give so many visuals but i'd like to get more with your personal injury photos then that would be great... If you can help it's muchly appreciated... I might not get on the site again till tomorrow so will look in then... :0)

Oh yeah, I remember the one you posted - was a good'un.

I did have one of the tendons in my finger, but think I binned it now, I'll have a look though.

There's a good one on here of that John Rushby fella covered in blood from an ice axe to the face I think...

I will see if I can find the injury of when my mate nearly lost his arm at a climbing wall.

Its one of those 1:1,000,000 injuries where the rope falls around the bicep moments before they fall off the route and the rope cuts into their arm. Plastic surgery was required along with many doctors taking photos for their own amusement, cough, education.

Feking scary event, and one which thankfully resulted in him keeping his arm.

I've one of my mates foot after he slipped out of a heel hook and sliced his shoe off, giving him a nice 3" gash on his heel !

Hmm, that's a question which has been asked before in this thread, yet Mita seems to be deliberately ignoring it - come on Mita, what exactly is the nature of your "research"?

Uploaded this just for you! Cold crystalline granite is quite sharp. I didn't notice how the gash across the length of my finger came to be as my hands were numb with the cold wind that was blowing, It wouldn't stop bleeding for most of the day though.

It's always good to carry a basic first aid kit. I always do.

In reply to Radioactiveman: Thanks you, it will... & for those asking what the pics are for, well, I am now a fully qualified Makeup, Hair & Special Effects artist in Film & Media and I'd like the pics to recreate some of them wounds... Thanks to all that have contributed... :0)
