I'm not well known for my ability to stay on route
Unless I have a guidebook I don't know what I climb or the grade (neither do I often care). I rather just enjoy whatever I can climb rather push the grade, although if anything is all easy its just boring.

Injuries:
I have been having a bit of trouble with a wrist injury for a while, no climbing from August 06 until april 07. did a little bit of climbing during the rest of 2007, but not nearly as much as I'd liked; having said that, I did do a lot of chasing of non-climbing weather in 07 too.
:-(((

[2010] it is probably fair to say that I have lost confidence in my ability to climb anything other than the stairs. I've had some treatment on the wrist injury, it is not painful anymore, but my wrists lack strength and I also sometimes have problems with grip retention. Having said all that if I'm at a crag or suitable other bit of rock I will take some time to do a few moves on the rock, and climb up a few metres do some traverses just to test my strength - but I stop short of pushing too much in what might aggravate any injury problems.

[2011/2012]
not climbed anything worth noting since... I struggle to remember.

I like a laugh but my humour often seems to be lost on people
I'm more likely to be seen doing Kite Aerial Photography than climbing, but that still uses some of the same equipment.

Visited a few interesting places outside the UK, like in the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia, maybe Central America soon too.

Oh, if anyone does meet me, I'm not trying to be rude but I don't say much (quiet), some people might say that me saying "i don't say much" is an exaggeration; at some points in my life I have been able to count the words I've said each day on the fingers of one hand. It's not like I have lots to say but don't cos I'm shy, it is often the case that the words are not forming in my head to start with! then often by the time words have formed conversation has moved on too far.

My hearing isn't quite as good as I'd like it to be, although when I was tested many moons ago I could hear a wider range of frequencies than the average person but had problems differentiating between frequencies in certain ranges -- the consequence of this basically comes out when I'm trying to listen to people talking where there is some other background noise, not necessarily loud but maybe similar frequency - even if the person is right next to me I will have trouble picking out what they are saying from the other noise around.
