The late Terry Cheek's website is still up and gives a great overview. http://members.madasafish.com/~exmoorwalker/page160.html & http://exmoorcoasttraverse.blogspot.com/2010/01/exmoor-coast-traverse.html
Kes Webb's Hidden Edge of Exmoor book and the VS Climber's website are other sources.
Obviously the route is at sea level, and you must seriously consider the tide as there are few escape routes. Have a look on the low water of spring tides first. Access is M5 then A39 or N. Devon link road from junc 27 to Lynmouth or Combe Martin.

There seems to have been a very large collapse/landslip (July 2019) about 100m west of The Claw, with regular rockfall, so be very careful in this area. The collapse may have taken out Hannington's Path.
