Rocktype Granite
Altitude 221m a.s.l
Faces SW
Numerous granite blocks strewn across open fellside. A number of the easier lines and a few tougher ones still to be listed.
Park in a lay-by 700m west of The Woolpack pub. Then follow a track on the north side of the road (just beyond the east end of the lay-by) toward Christchurch. After a hundred metres or so take a path on the right, via a gate, signed to Eel tarn - which is 1.5km from here. There are two junctions on the way to the tarn, keep north/uphill at both. Once at the tarn, the first boulders are immediately north of the tarn itself, with the highest concentration (around the Dilly Stone) being a further 700m north, reached by continuing along the same path and visible from the first blocks.
