These small, isolated rocks are situated on the moor edge midway between Running Hill Pits and the Pots and Pans war memorial, directly above Saddleworth Church and the Cross Keys pub. Although promising from afar, the crag is rather broken on closer acquaintance. There is however a lovely walk around these edges from the trig point above the 'Pits' around the moors to Pots and Pans and Alderman that can be combined with some bouldering and soloing.
Approach from either Running Hill Pits, Pots and Pans or from below by parking above the Cross Keys pub and following signed footpaths to the moors edge.
