Can be approached by foot or by kayak. If you walk in, it's recommended that you park at Fossil Cove and follow the national park trail down to the beach, then turn right (south) and scramble/swim round the coast for approx. 1km till you reach the eponymous Pinnacle. Take care with loose rock, and it's worth having a dry bag for car keys etc.
If you kayak, start from Blackman's Beach and head south for 2km until you reach the pinnacle. Boats can be moored/beached on the ledge to the right of the pinnacle (looking in), where there is also a DBB and fixed line (as of 2023).
