A harder selection of chalk routes compared to that of Saltdean. Nearly all are in caves and overhanging. A lot of the routes are of a bouldering style and do not require ropes etc.
The grades are in Mixed format but are really in the D for 'Dry' format as no ice is present.
CUTTING INTERMEDIARY HOLDS TO MAKE CLIMBS EASIER IS NOT ACCEPTABLE
Park up in Newhaven cliffs car Park and walk West as far as the beach goes. The main cave is just past the hanging rope.
