This is the large crag well down and to the left of the Emosson Dam, when looking up from Barberine. At the moment it has four routes (though M Piola started one years before the others were climbed... unfortunately he can't remember where it is!)
NOTE: Beware if climbing here in the spring - large wet-snow avalanches frequently sweep over the crag from the (hidden) névés above.
Leave your car at the ENTRANCE to the village of Barberine, ie just off the main road - don't park in the village. Walk through the village to a prominent L hand bend some 50m before a small telepherique building. A clearly signed footpath heads straight on towards tha Col du Passet. Follow this to where it starts to zig zag just next to the crag of Passet du Haut, then strike up leftwards, at a cairn, to the crag. An easy hour.
