The highest part of Drivdalen and therefore the first to form. Climbing can often take place here from as early as October with Skåkbekken and Sprenbekken typically being the first waterfalls to form good ice.
For the Kongsvollfossen, Moskusrenna and Moskussen routes, park at the carpark for the second 'Vårstigen' going south on the E6 from Oppdal. These routes are visible from the road.
For Snøfresr'n in Nystuggudalen there is some tenuous parking at the footbridge by Trollkjerka. Cross the bridge via the locked gate (the crux) and head up the valley.
For Overrakselsen, parking is best at the Kongsvoldfjellstue.
No access issues with climbing here.
