Heltor rock, is a rocky outcrop on a solitary hill with a fantastic view of the surrounding countryside. The tor is split in two by the Devil's Gully. Heading up the only path, you meet the southern tip which forks left to the west face (climbing) and the right which takes you to the top of the tor and on to the top of the DG.
There is some bouldering on the boulder which overlooks the approach path.

This summit has been climbed in 6 logbooks.Parking at the foot of the only path leading to the tor, is at best a dry muddy verge. Be careful, especially after rain or in winter, easy to get stuck. (OL28 - Has it ringed as access land).
