Mò Bhiogadail is a minor northern outlier of Clisham and sits at the entrance to Gleann Sgaladail to the side of fiord-like Loch Seaforth. The hill's eastern slopes terminate in Creag Mò, a large cliff which dominates the surroundings. The cliff can clearly be seen from the A859 nearby. Although the cliff is a bit loose and vegetated in parts, many of the climbs are a lot better than their appearance would suggest.
Heading north from Tarbert, the A859 to Stornoway drops steeply down the hill towards sea-level again after swinging round the flanks of Clisham. Creag Mò can be seen straight ahead here. At the foot of the hill, by the bridge across the Abhainn Sgaladail, there is off-road parking on the west side of the road, on the north side of the bridge.
Follow a stalkers' path on the north side of the river for 1km before heading directly up the hillside to the crag.
