Superb grit with unusual quartzite bands over-looking Tremadog Bay. Although the routes are short, the aspect and atmosphere more than make up. If soloing a mat is fairly essential as the landings are generally grim.
Take the first right travelling south from Trawsfynydd. The road soon forks - go right. Park thoughtfully on the roadside north of the farm at Tyn Twll. Take the obvious path west to a wide col (1.5 km). The crag now on the right.
Additional notes on the approach: (1) Expect to get your feet wet; (2) Once at the col, leave the main path rightwards and stay to the right of the small right-hand valley. Descend past a long line of short broken buttresses until you reach the taller faces of the main crag.
