Blue Eyed Blonde (19), Freycinet Peninsula, Tasmania © cornishben
One of Australia's premier sea cliff climbing areas, in the beautiful setting of Freycinet Peninsular National Park. Single and multi-pitch, mainly traditional climbing. Not unlike Cornwall. See http://www.thesarvo.com for a fairly comprehensive online guide.
Off Cape Tourville Road. Turn left, towards Bluestone Bay (unmarked dirt road), a few hundred meters before reaching the lighthouse. See http://www.thesarvo.com for more info. 2wd cars can make it down the heavily rutted 4wd track, but not without grounding out a few times. For a day trip, it's probably best to park rental cars in the small parking area off the sealed road, then it's an easy half hour walk down the track to crag.
White water wall itself has more middle grade routes than are listed. Eg Lace Thunder 12.
It is probably the best venue for 12-19 climbs in the area and has a beutiful setting.
