This offshore landmark lies 300m east of The Blue Grotto Cave. A boat and a strong spirit of adventure will give access to climbs on the landward face.
The easiest place to put a dinghy in the water is at the car park at Shoalstone Beach on the north side of Berry Head promontory.
Unrestricted but try to minimise disturbance to seals.
Couldn't find the PB mooring so I assume it has disintergrated. You can land sea kayaks on the rocky shoulder at its most southerly, highly recommend not going when theres strong easterlies as landing and launching is very tricky (a swim launch was required) and getting to the foot of the climbs seems challenging (we belayed from the shoulder and traversed into the climbs a little further up the route). Rock quality is very good for first half of the climbs and not too bad in the top half but it can get a bit 'snappy' so just need to choose holds carefully. A great adventure, highly recommeded!
