The island of Bearasaigh lies some 3km north-northwest of the bay of Camus Bostadh. With a height of 58m, both it and the distinctive Stac an Tuill, off its southwest tip, can be seen from the road end at Bostadh. The larger mass of Seana Chnoc rises to a height of 90m from the sea behind the island and on first sight Bearasaigh looks part of this.
