A gendarmed limestone ridge that offers a superb and popular ridge traverse.
Drinks and snacks are available at the chalet on the approach track.
From the big carpark at Pont de l'Alpe, take the track to the chalets. Continue past them and the access path to the via Ferrata until you reach a junction at spot height 2209 (signed).
Carry on north along here on the GR57 following the stream until you reach spot height 2440 (signed Clos d'Ane).
An unsigned but obvious path going south takes you to the beginning of the ridge (a small cave is a good landmark and is the start of the route).
