Hello, I'm looking for some good 2 or 3 days multi winter days. Either tent or bothy. Going up last two weeks in March, but alone so won't be doing anything too technical or requiring a rope. Thanks for any info.
Blair Atholl to/from Aviemore is a good outing. Broadly following the route of Glen Tilt and the Lairig Ghru, you can take in a fair number of Munros along the way on either side of these infamous passes, which also allow for progress to be made if the weather turns too wild for the summits. Good, but busy, bothies at The Red House and Corrour and places to eat at either end followed by a relaxing return train journey back to the starting point make the logistics fairly straightforward. The Geldie can be difficult to cross if it's in spate.
It's a fair while ago now but I went from Tulloch train station to Kinlochleven in three days. Over the Ossians, over the Grey Corries and over Binnean Mor
